One concept my kids and I use in our homeschooling is journaling or sometimes known as notebooking. In Science we have nature journals to document our findings in nature, in Language Arts we have literature journals, now we also have this beautiful field trip and travel journal for kids!

Travel the world in your homeschool
If you have been following my blog for a while now, you know that my family LOVES to travel and go on exciting field trips. As my children got older, I wanted a place where they could document each trip or field trip as a fun memento to look back on when they’re older. From that, the idea for Discover The World Travel Journal was born.
We lived full time in our RV at one point and had so much fun roadschooling as a family! It was an amazing opportunity for not just our kids, but my husband and myself as well. Let me tell you, if you want to bond as a family, move yourselves into an RV for months at a time and take that baby on the road! You will soon learn a lot about this beautiful country we live in and A LOT about your family you didn’t know before! If you travel with your kids or are hoping to travel soon, this travel and field trip journal has everything your kids need to help remember some of their favorite trips!
A field trip & travel journal for your homeschool
The Discover The World Travel & Field Trip Journal starts out with an “All About Me” page. This is one of my FAVORITE parts of the journal because years from now I’ll be able to look back at the answers my kids have written on these pages and remember these trips. I love the personal touch that this page adds!
One of our favorite travel traditions when we visit the national parks is for my kids to earn their U.S. National Parks Junior Ranger Badges. Naturally, I had to include a page just for badges!
Other fun pages include your kiddos travel bucket list, a spot where they can rate the trip (hopefully all five star ratings!), draw a picture of their traveling companions, what they saw and learned, as well as a place for them to use their creative abilities to create their own postcard for the destination!

A field trip and travel journal for kids of any age!
My kids ages range from 12 years to 9 months. I LOVE being able to homeschool as a family all together, so for me, being able to use products that are for multiple ages is a MUST. The Discover The World Journal fits that bill. Where the travel and field trip journal may require more writing, I let my 3 year old dictate to me what she found memorable about each trip and field trip, my older two are able to easily handle both the writing and the art sections themselves!
