How it works
The challenge is beautifully simple: read 100 books during your homeschool year. There are no required book lists, reading levels, or complicated rules. Picture books count. Chapter books count. Audiobooks count. Family read-alouds count. Independent reading counts. If your family enjoyed a story together, it belongs on your Story Trail.
As you read, you’ll color in your Story Trail tracker one book at a time, watching your family’s reading adventure come to life. Along the way, you’ll unlock milestone badges to celebrate your progress and share your accomplishments with other homeschool families. Whether you’ve reached 10 stories or crossed the finish line at 100, every milestone is worth celebrating!
Our hope is that this becomes more than a reading challenge—we hope it becomes a homeschool tradition. What’s included
When you sign up, we’ll send you your free printable The 100 Story Trail tracker, a collection of milestone badges to celebrate your progress, a completion certificate, and occasional emails filled with reading inspiration, book recommendations, and encouragement throughout the year. You can choose from a full color tracker or a printer friendly black and white version your children can color in themselves.
So print your tracker, choose your first book, and begin your Story Trail. One hundred stories may sound like a big goal today, but by the end of the school year, you’ll have created something far more valuable than a completed tracker—you’ll have created memories that will last a lifetime.
