Poetry books can be such a lovely addition to your home library. They can take children on a short adventure to a different place and help them learn about a life outside of their own. We love including poetry in many of our Rabbit Trails lessons, so it was no surprise when we looked to add beautiful poetry to our new Homesteading unit. Literature based education is my jam. I try to fit in as many books as we can throughout our school year. Forget the text books, I want real, living books! Picture books, novels, you name it. All of our Rabbit Trails through Science curriculum is filled with amazing pictures books and is a great fit for both elementary and middle school learners. At our church, our kids “age up” to sit in the sanctuary when they hit 6th grade. They have amazing, age appropraite classes for preschool through elementary. This past Sunday, my son aged up and joined us for the regular church service for the first time. Oh, how they grow! I wanted something to help keep him focused and to make these new adult sermons helpful to him, so I created My Sermon Notes Journal to help him and the other kids in our church.
