It can be so hard to find good, quality picture books for history sometimes. We search far and wide to find books on certain history topics and sometimes we come up short. When we couldn’t find a book on the 100 Years War, I took it upon myself to write one. With the help of my son and his illustrations, we are able to bring you a beautiful picture book: The Story of the 100 Years War.

Here is the story
of the 100 Years War
in precisely 300 words
(or maybe just a few more).
Learn about the 100 Years War in a fun way!
Replicas of Medieval artwork, a summary of a war no longer taught, and a glossary with
vocabulary words are what you’ll find inside this beautiful picture book that you can add
to your family’s history studies.

This book was a labor of love that I was able to create along with my teenage son. We were lacking a book about the 100 Years War in our Medieval History unit study, so we decided to make one! This is our first picture book and we’re looking forward to making more.

This is so much more than a picture book, too. This book includes vocabulary with a glossary of definitions in the back of the book. All of the artwork included are replicas of real, Medieval art, too. The originals can be found in the back of the book for further art exploration.

You can grab your copy of The Story of the 100 Years War to go along with Rabbit Trails through History: Medieval History, or to use in your own history studies!

Make a book with one own son ? GOALS!
You’re so sweet! It was a really fun project and we’re already working on book #2!
